Business coaching for brilliant, overwhelmed brains
Practical coaching for business owners with busy minds, full lives, and unconventional businesses
Are you an expert at what you do…
But find your mind so overloaded with options you don’t know which path to choose? Or even how to start choosing?
Do you know you are brilliant…
But end up paralysed when trying to tackle your overflowing inbox? Or other small tasks that ‘should’ be easy?
Do you regularly have opportunities come your way…
But wind up kicking yourself for not following up on that juicy lead? Or not putting yourself out there for that dream client?
This sucks. Big time.
And it sucks even more when…
You’re teetering on the edge of burnout but can’t step away in case everything collapses around you.
You have a clear vision but you never seem to get any closer to it.
You know you work best outside the 9-5 but still try and jam yourself into conventional hours (or feel guilty as hell when you don’t)
This is where many of my clients are when we meet for the first time.
Like you’re juggling on a unicycle and if you drop a single ball then you are in trouble, but you didn’t sign up for a unicycle and you are tired… but you still want to make it all work.
And annoyingly, knowing doesn’t make doing any easier.
In fact your technical knowhow, nuance and precision makes doing even harder to take imperfect action.
The knowledge you have built your business on gives you more options to think through before you act. Particularly when it comes to simplifying what you do for your sales and marketing.
You do not want to become the next clickbait in your industry!
Your expertise is not the problem or the solution, it’s what we need to get out there.
We can’t think our way out of this stuff alone. Having big dreams and bold future plans only compounds the pressure, meaning you spend even more time squashed between taking bold action and thinking through every last unintented consequence.
And you may well be navigating all of this with life stuff happening too?
Because anything else would be far too easy, right?! 😅
If you are done reading and ready to see how I can help you, complete the scorecard and let’s talk about your business…
Hang on, this is business coaching.
Why are we talking about Life Stuff?
Because when you have a busy mind, a complex life, and are running a business, everything is interlinked.
If you are managing circumstances in your personal life that add stress, uncertainty, or restrictions to your time, money or energy, your business needs to work with that. Anything else is not sustainable.
I could not write about all the circumstances my clients have navigated without needing another page, but to give you a taste…
Chronic illnesses, significant injuries, or burnout recovery.
Learning to work with your neurodivergent brain after a late diagnosis (oh boy, the unmasking).
Caring responsibilities for parents, family, or children who need extra care for the short and long-term.
Perimenopause, matrescence or other major hormonal and life transitions.
It’s hard to make clear business decisions when life keeps shifting.
So if it matters to you, it matters to me.
If you’re reading this and thinking “Oh wow, there is a lot happening here”, then please…
Bring. It. On!
I love working with business owners with lots of plates to juggle and responsibilities to spin. Seriously, the more there is for you to brain dump, the more impact we can make together!
If you’re ready to go, you can start with the Scorecard right here!
“F**ck off big problems and a wickedly complex business model? Seonaidh’s your gal!”
Now imagine yourself in 6 months time…
You are confident and taking practical action every work day, and watching it build in the right direction.
The way you are running your business is protecting and fuelling your energy, not sapping it.
You can use your skills, expertise and creativity because you know which ideas are right for you, your business, and your life.
You are actively rebuilding your solid sense of self trust. You are decisive, your inner compass back online, and you can feel yourself getting bolder about your business.
Finally, your business is fulfilling and sustainable!
Are you ready to feel this good in and out of your business?
Clicking this button takes you to the scorecard I use to assess my clients and their progress. You’ll get an invitation to book a chat with me and we can discuss your best next steps, including seeing if working together would be a good fit for you.
“But Seonaidh, I also need to tighten up my messaging, update my website, and get those automations up and running…”
We will work on all of that too.
In fact, tackling the business essentials is exactly how we reach that 6 month picture!
“She gets right to the heart of what you can’t see.”
I’m not here to convince you that you need support with this.
In fact, if you don’t need me I am genuinely delighted. Please keep doing what you’re doing!
But if you are still reading, you probably do want to see serious changes in your business and life, like yesterday.
Either something drastic has happened that means your business needs to work right now. Or you’ve simply had enough. You are ready for your business to work as well as you know it can.
But knowing that you need change and creating that change are two completely different things.
The same goes for getting out of ‘fight or flight’ with worries about your future. Constant cortisol does nothing for our creativity or intuition.
The Orchard Framework is how we will assess, prioritise, and plan what we’ll tackle while we work together. It’s based on three simple pillars:
The Orchard - Your environment and circumstances
The Tree - Your business
The Gardener - You!
So often we want to leap straight to ‘business growth’ without considering what’s going on in and around our businesses. The Orchard Framework is designed to avoid those pitfalls by considering your whole life right from the beginning.
If you’d like to learn more about The Orchard Framework, you can download the full outline right here!
So how do we work through all of this?
Introducing The Orchard Framework!
The Orchard Framework is not a step by step plan.
We won’t cover every topic consecutively. We may not cover some topics at all depending on what you need.
It’s a framework that allows us to:
Spot what’s working well and where you need support.
Prioritise across your business so we tackle the highest impact areas.
Track improvements and changes throughout our work together so we know what we are doing is working!
How We’ll Work Together
To make the biggest impact, I partner with all of my clients for a minimum of six months. That lets us dig deep, test solutions, and work through any ‘wicked problems’ that crop up and need our attention.
Worried you’ll make one tweak and three seemingly unrelated things will break?
That is a wicked problem and I live for them. Unintended consequences are expected and we will make time for dealing with them!
Here are the contact points we’ll have during our time together:
12 × 50 minute online calls - two weeks apart so you have time to test, process, and come back.
WhatsApp support between calls - including a WhatsApp group just for my clients
Access to your online portal - so you can keep on top of assigned exercises, notes, and your call bookings.
Flexibility where you need it - life happens, so if you need to flex I will always do my best to flex with you.
I had a three month window to turn my business from breakeven into my sole source of income.
What Seonaidh brought wasn’t just strategy, but confidence, clarity, and a coaching style that genuinely adapts to the person in front of her.
I’m now clear on my numbers, I’ve rebuilt trust in my own decision-making, and crucially, I’ve found the confidence to ask for my “dream number”. My business is more than ‘surviving’. It’s now sustainable and growing.
Danny, Founder of Cahill Brand, and navigating business and life with an ND brain.
What does it cost?
The investment for our six month partnership is:
£495
Per month for 6 months
£2,925
When paid up front
Your investment will take you from treading water and circling self doubt, to feeling in control of your gifts and taking confident strides to sustainably growing your business!
Hi, I’m Seonaidh!
(Pronounced ‘Shona’)
I’ve always been really good at what I do, but that didn’t stop my previous business from failing.
I maxed out my credit cards (yeah, plural) and still had to let my team go. It left me utterly burned out. I lost everything. My identity, self-esteem, my health. It sucked.
Looking back, I realise that whole situation was avoidable. I don’t want anyone else to go through that.
And now I’m basically a canary for spotting unsustainable business models and practices, so the experience taught me some useful things.
I’ve also worked as a project manager, run an international personal training business (for pole dancers), been the Chair and Treasurer of a charity, collaborated with international trade associations, industry leaders, cross disciplinary research, and more.
And I’ve got ADHD, but you probably guessed that bit already!
I am an Accredited coach with IAPCM with a L6 Business Growth Coaching certification, NLP Master Practitioner, Master of Timeline Therapy, Hypnotherapy, and NLP Coaching. Not to mention having coached 750+ people to reach their goals.
I’m also the author of Why You Skipped Your Workout, a book that examines all the reasons we don’t do things we really want to do!
It’s much easier getting to know people by having a conversation, so if you’d like to book a call so we can get to know each other please use the link below!
Why now?
You’ve probably already had coaching.
Was it ADHD coaching? It is wonderful and so important when working with an ND brain, but it doesn’t always cover practical business operations.
Was it business coaching? Again, also wonderful and so important when running a business, but maybe didn’t consider your brain and your life.
Well as one of my clients put it, I’m not ‘just another fucking business coach’, we’ll cover your mindset and things that impact your business too!
So perhaps the question isn’t ‘why now’ but ‘how do I know if this will really help me?’
If that’s the question on your mind, the next step is to fill out the Business Orchard Scorecard.
It will take you through each stage of the Orchard Framework and invite you to book a call with me. We’ll talk through your results and make sure you leave with clear next steps.
Whether you end up working with me or not, you will get value out of this exercise.
When you click on the button, it’ll take you to my scorecard where you’ll be asked a set of questions. It’ll take you approx. 10-15 minutes to work through and then you’ll be sent a summary of your results by email. You’ll be invited onto a call with me for that all important vibe check!
Got a question about working with me?
Check out the FAQs. If you can’t find the answer to your question you can email me or…

We all have seasons in our business that don’t go as planned. Cashflow issues, process problems, struggling to get off the start line. These are all normal, and the best way to get out of this spell is to get some support!
And on a personal note, I do what I do now in part because I had a business that failed. It sucked, it felt personal, and I didn’t know where to go for help. Everything I do now is to make sure no one else has to feel alone in their business.
All coaching sessions are no judgement zones, and you are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
If you want to share without having to say it all out loud, you can start with the Orchard Scorecard. From there you’ll be invited to book a no-obligation follow up call.

I am a business coach specialising in neurodivergent business owners.
I am an accredited Business Coach with IAPCM. I also have ADHD, and have spent the last decade working with neurodivergent clients, even before I knew I had ADHD myself!
While researching my book, Why You Skipped Your Workout, I spent over 2 years researching behaviour change, habits, consistency, neurodiversity and more.
Understanding the reasons we struggle to do things that matter to us has taken up the last 6 years of my life, and understanding neurodiversity has filtered into that big time.
I work with neurodivergent business owners because I know how much generic business advice hasn’t worked for me. I’m here for the unconventional, the quirky, and working out which invisible barrier we need to deal with!
If you want to see if I’m the right fit for you and your business, book a call today and lets chat!

The benefits of working together are less about your business stage, and more about where you are.
You might be just starting out, ready to grow, taking on a team, or launching a new service. Whatever you are looking to do, this is about you being ready to transition into a new way of working in and running your business.
If you are tiptoeing on the edge of something new, then let’s talk.
If you are ready to stop holding back from going big on your business, let’s talk.
If you have an idea you’ve been holding onto and you want to make it a reality, let’s talk.
If you are ready for something more (without burning yourself out in the process), let’s talk.
I’ve worked with business owners going through transitions from:
Pre-launch to established in the 90s;
Before first sales to £750k annual turnover;
Solo business owners (including preparing for maternity leave) to all members of a founding team; and
Sole traders, Limited companies, Charities, and CICs!
Regardless of where you are in your business, completing the Orchard Scorecard will help us focus in on what matters most.
-

Many of my clients run successful, fulfilling businesses part-time and around other commitments. Whether your business fits around existing employment, caring responsibilities, or your lifestyle and preferences, there is no rule that says you must work 9-5, Monday to Friday to justify business coaching.
I work best when I work 4 days a week maximum, and I built this business to allow me to work part time deliberately. We can do the same for you!
-
In short, yes!
If you are receiving Access to Work funding, the easiest place for us to start is with a 30 minute video chat. That lets us see how we could work together and I can talk you through how we can claim for your sessions.
You can book a 30 minute call with me here.
I work with both employed and self-employed people through Access to Work, and can support you in navigating the claims process.
-
I have a real soft spot for brand new businesses!
Whether you have an idea you want to explore or you’ve already taken your first steps, I would love to help you get your business off the ground. By getting support early in the process, you can save a lot of time, money, and stress. We can talk about beta testing, appropriate systems, first clients, and how to lay solid, sustainable business foundations.
The best place to start is by completing the Scorecard and answering as well as you can, even if you can’t answer the business questions you will be able to answer the questions about you and your circumstances.
-
Yes!
We can work out a package that suits you and your co-founder or co-founders. We can use a mix of one-to-one and group sessions, tailored to your individual and business needs.
One to one sessions are confidential. You can share as much or as little as you would like with your co-founders, I won’t. I will treat the conversations we have the same as I would any other one to one client.
Group sessions can be used to work towards shared goals, share skills and expertise, and overcome conflicts or uncertainties. You can also use these as facilitated meetings on specific topics, where I’ll guide you towards collaborative solutions and next steps.
-
Of course!
Many of my clients use and love Granola. This is an AI tool, so make sure you check your privacy and data handling policies before using with your own clients. Granola also contributes 1.5% of your subscription to remove CO₂ from the atmosphere through Stripe Climate.

I have no minimum threshold that I recommend as standard, but when we talk we will talk about the resources you have to access and use coaching for your business effectively.
On the whole, I don’t recommend coaching if:
You cannot afford it without causing yourself financial stress. Pay yourself before you pay me always! That said, I do offer payment plans and accept Access to Work funding to help you spread and absorb your investment.
The thought of adding anything else into your diary sounds completely overwhelming. We can talk about ways of reducing demands on you before we start formally working together, but clearing some space would come first. Once you have space, we can revisit working together!
You are looking for easy fixes and just want someone to tell you what to do. While I will provide guidance and help you build certain skills where needed, coaching is about helping you do what works best for you. Only you know what that looks like. If you are looking for someone to run your business and tell you what to do, we can talk about Fractional support where I work in your business for a period of time.
You don’t want to expend time or energy on it. If you’re looking at business coaching because you think you should or someone has sent you here, then now probably isn’t the right time. Coaching works best when we both come in with commitment and self-motivation, and we won’t get the best results if your heart isn’t in it too!
If you can afford coaching, you have time to show up to sessions, and you are ready and willing to show up with an open mind to each session, then we have enough to work with!
-
The exact results you get will depend on your circumstances, barriers, and goals. Whatever the results you want to see, the best way to maximise your ROI is to:
Come to each session with an open mind;
Share the thoughts behind the your ‘professional’, polished responses;
Be honest about what does and doesn’t work for you;
Lean into the awkward, the uncomfortable, and the scary as we work together;
Share blocks and struggles as they come up.
I’m here to make it easier for you to do what you do best. The exact results that will get you will vary, but we will set clear goals, track progress, and check in to make sure our partnership is doing what you need when you need it!
-
While it depends on the specifics of the crisis, I am often brought in when the 💩 hits the fan.
If you are experiencing business problems regarding cash flow, tricky clients, unforeseen changes to circumstances, navigating interpersonal conflict, or in a pinch about if your business will/won’t make it - let’s talk.
I’ve closed a business and let go of a team, and it sucked. I get how hard it is when your business isn’t going the way you want it to. You will get a completely judgement free zone focused on getting you out of here in one piece!
If you are experiencing a physical or mental health crisis, I can and do work alongside other practitioners on a regular basis. I have previously collaborated with occupational therapists, psychotherapists, physiotherapists, and other members of my clients healthcare teams. If I can help you implement their recommendations into how you run your business, I will happily join your support team!
-
You sure can. I can pop a request out to my past clients and see who would be free to chat to you.
I still work with the very first business client I signed, and I have clients who have moved with me through different industries. They would be happy to answer any questions you have about working with me!
-
I do a whole lot of matchmaking. Part of my job is helping you do more of what you are great at, so I will help you tap into my network of:
Graphic designers
Marketing specialists
Web developers
Accountants
Legal professionals
Administrators and support workers
PR professionals
Occupational therapists
Salespeople
OBMs
Specialist consultants in HR, H&S, compliance, Cybersecurity and more
This is just a sample of the network I rely on to support my clients, and we can talk about the support you specifically need when we talk about your business!
-
Every client I work with has a different way they want to market and sell their products and services, so I have no one approach across the board!
When it comes to marketing, we generally focus on:
Clarity in your messaging.
Strategies, mediums and platforms that feel sustainable and are effective.
Working ethically and in line with your strengths.
When it comes to sales, we focus on:
Creating a sales process that feels sustainable and ethical to you - that will look different for everyone!
Overcoming beliefs and blocks that prevent you from selling ethically. This is about finding your comfort zone both practically and ethically.
Making it as easy as possible for people to buy from you both in terms of your contact points, online systems, messaging, and offers themselves. The easier it is for them to buy, the less active sales you need to do!
-
The Orchard Framework gives us a map to follow, not a set curriculum. When you complete the Orchard Scorecard, we’ll get a snapshot of your business as it functions right now.
When we talk for the first time (before we have started working together), we’ll talk about the results of your Scorecard and your goals. That will give us some clues about where we are likely to focus first.
The first session we have working together is for refining and clarifying your goals, making sure we have clear metrics to track and a direction to follow. By the end of this first session, we will outline what is going to happen in session two. We may plan a few sessions ahead, but most often we will work fluidly as topics arise organically - referencing the areas of your Scorecard that need the most support.
-
Let me start with a confession before I answer this question: I wrote a whole book about skipping workouts because that felt easier than going to the gym three times a week. When I did my Clifton Strengths Assessment (which I’d recommend doing if you haven’t already) consistency was my lowest scoring element.
If you haven’t completed something from your last session, it’s our job to understand why and make it easier for you to do next time. That could mean completing it at the beginning of a session, breaking it down, reframing it, or even ditching it altogether if something else would be more effective.
If you haven’t completed tasks from your last session, you don’t need to apologise or postpone your call until you’ve completed it. This is for us to work through together!
-
That depends on a few things:
Your goals
The areas of your business that need our attention
Your capacity
The time you have specifically for your business
The resources, support, and money you have available to support your business
What you want to do
Some of my clients have very light touch tasks between sessions. Mostly focused on checking in with themselves, noticing patterns, and being mindful about what helps/hinders their progress. We can then do the bulk of the ‘work’ in our sessions.
Other clients of mine are reviewing web copy, digging deep into specific systems or processes, completing courses, reading books, or doing other more time consuming tasks as part of their coaching.
What you do between sessions will be unique to you and based on what feels achievable and in line with your goals.
If we have agreed actions for between a call, and something changes that makes them feel too much/too little, then you are always welcome to message me and we can adapt/prioritise/go deeper. I know things change, and we need to adapt with changes to make sure our work together is sustainable.
